Hello,

I understand that dfuprog.exe is used with this example : C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_04_00_00\device_support\f2806x\MWare\boot_loader

What is the application of USB flash programmer? USB flash programmer can be used like serial flash programmer? ( Hex file / specifics C code )

Or USB flash programmer can also be used with this example ?

Alain,

Flash Programmer first downloads a kernel which then uses the USB to load the firmware upgrade application and programs it into Flash whereas when a device is put into DFU mode , the control is transferred to the USB boot loader which reenumerates the device as a pure DFU device capable of uploading and downloading firmware images.

Hello Siddharth ,

just a little precison flash programmer and DFU mode dont use the the same bootloader code ?

or the bootloader example is for this two programmation type?

is there a documentation that explain the differences ?

They don't use the same code and I don't think there is any documentation that explains the difference.
