Yes the section does not exist in the RAM linker command file. The release build uo does not run at all, Therefore I generated a new release configuration starting from the debug and only replaced the linker cmd file by the file . Now I am getting some more errors:

The servers for download the NDK and NS doesn't respond anymore. I found this link before but I could not work as described. I can build the project, but your recept will not solve my linker problem because the .bint section is not defined in the linker file of your example project C2000Ware_3_04_00_02\libraries\communications\Ethernet\ti\ndk\examples\tcpEchoF2838X and this has nothing to do with the system setup.

NDK is no longer going to be supported , hence you can take a look at the LWIP examples provided for Ethernet.

Regarding the compilation issue: 

I was able to compile the binary , I did get a warning for the ".binit" section in the linker cmd file, 

This can be resolved by adding the below lines to the linker cmd file

 .binit : > CMBANK0_SECTOR0 | CMBANK0_SECTOR1 | CMBANK0_SECTOR2 |
 CMBANK0_SECTOR3 | CMBANK0_SECTOR4 | CMBANK0_SECTOR5

After adding this line, I no longer get the warning.

Hello Siddhardth,

now my project is running also in Flash. This is now my only running example with a RTOS and a TCPIP stack on the CM. This could be the base for nearly everything. All control stuff of the TMS32F28388D is the same as for the TMS320F23377D we are very familiar with. But now you are telling me the NDK and the NS will no longer be supported. All I want to do is build a single chip motor controller with the very special features of the C2000 family (HRPWM, coupled 16 Bit ADCs) in combination with modern communication interfaces (TCP/IP, Ethercat, CAN-Open). What is your general roadmap for doing this? TI-RTOS the all in one solution for this controller is not comming for more than 2 years. Sysbios and NDK will no longer be supported, as you say within this threat. The LWIP example is not running in combination with a RTOS (I tried to get it run in combination with FreeRTOS). But FreeRTOS is also no longer supported I could take it from the old C2000Ware_3_03_00_00 and get it run. Sholud I start a new threat (LWIP with FreeRTOS), or you have an example with LWIP and SYSBios for me?

Or better with LWIP, the hardware initialisation for this processor, and FreeRTOS (my favorite OS).

Currently we only support LWIP without RTOS.  We do have a  FreeRTOS port on CM side but we don't have integration of LWIP with FreeRTOS.
