TMS320F28384S: The Predefined Symbol DEBUG for driverlib.

Hi champs,

In the driverlib example projects, we predefine symbol 'DEBUG' and this will cause time delay when using macro, for example ASSERT macro.

Can customers remove DEBUG symbol to increase software performance, is there any side effort?

Please advise, thanks for your help.

The ASSERT is mainly used for debugging, it can be removed .

Is there anywhere else in driverlib using 'DEBUG' and may have side effect if we remove 'DEBUG' symbol?

I just checked and found that the APIs "isBaseValid" (for most of the IPs) will not be available in the driverlib if the "DEBUG" symbol is removed. Apart from this, I don't see any side effects.
