What is recommended Flash programmer for TMS320F28388D in production?

Is TMS320F28388D supported by C2000-GANG?

Is TMS320F28388D supported by FlashPro-X (X2S)?

I couldn't find F28388D in https://www.elprotronic.com/pages/ti-c2000

    Hi Kuerbis,

    GANG added F2838x support in 2020.  But, recently they found an issue in unlocking CM from C28x CPU1.  Hence, they pulled it out and are actively working on it to fix the bug.

    As of now, CodeSkin supports F2838x.

    Thank you for providing current situation.

    Has  FlashPro 2000  and FlashPro-X (X2S) same issue?  

    Do you have their released schedule?

     Would you please confirm it if you don't have by 2nd Nov?

    C2000-GANG, FlashPro 2000  and FlashPro-X (X2S) is only a small portable tool for multi-device programmer. The customer is considering to use it.  So we need a release plan. 

    Do you have any tool for multi-device programmer?

    Hi Kuerbis,

    Elprotronic may need a few weeks to fix it.  

    I know Elprotronic is working towards GANG update for F2838x.  You can check about FlashPros with them directly (support@elprotronic.com).

    Regarding your multi-device programmer question:  For this device, no other multi-device programming tool is available as of now.  3rd party tool vendors (DataIO, BPM, Acroview etc.) usually start developing the tools when customers approach them.
