Hi,

I have a question related to the availability of the DIMM100 connector found on the TMDSDOCK28069.

We use the F28069 extensively in our education and have been looking to revise an inverter PCB to handle more current than a previous revision. To that end, we'd like to use the F28069 control cards, which we bought a bunch of about a year ago. In previous revisions, we have connected it to an inverter PCB through a DIMM100 connector, but these seem to have become discontinued from manufacturers like Molex. I saw you were writing a post about 11 months ago (e2e.ti.com/.../tms320f28035-dimm100-for-the-c2000-f28035-development-board in which you mentioned that you know of providers that still supply these connectors. Could you share it with us? It would be of great help.

    Gustaf, 

    I would recommend you to move to a more modern device, our more modern EVMs use an HSEC connector which is readily available for purchase.

    Similar devices to F28069:

    TMDSCNCD280049C(integrated PGAs)
    TMDSCNCD280025C
    TMDSCNCD280039C

    The above controlCARDs all use the HSEC interface and have much more control features. Particularly the PWM has a number of new features which address a few of the shortcomings of the older Type-1 PWM on F28069.

    Nevertheless to directly answer your question: how many connectors are you looking to buy? I believe the supplier has large minimum order quantities. I'll send you a private message and share their details if you are still interested.
