TMS320F28379S: Problem with ADC-D

Part Number: TMS320F28379S
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

We made a control board using TMS320F38379S. While testing, all the ADCs are working fine except ADCD. It alone is saturating even if we did not give any inputs. We tested all the signal conditioning circuits, and everything is working fine. The signal going to the micro-controller is correct. But inside the controller, some issue is happening. Will it happen because of the memory mapping issue? i.e., should we edit something in the CMD file? Or, can it be an issue with the chip? We are not able to figure it out.
We are looking forward to your valuable suggestions.

Thanks and regards

  • Aruni,

Can you run the ADC_ex1_soc_software example in C2000Ware C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_00_00_00\driverlib\f2837xs\examples\cpu1\adc.  This uses ADC A and D(default is D2/D3 channels), if you use this example and still see issues we can know that the FW is OK and to look more at the HW side.

    Best,

    Matthew
