TMS320F28069M: Could not initialize class sun.awt.Win32FontManager

I installed CCS v11 with RTSC/XDCTools v3.62.1.16, SYS/BIOS v6.83.0.18, and UIA v2.30.1.02 on my new Windows 10 laptop. I created RTOS based project, when I opened the default app.cfg file with XGCONF tool, the app file was loaded, however, the SYS/BIOS tab was empty. When I clicked any object, an error message popped up.

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
Could not initialize class sun.awt.Win32FontManager

I installed the latest Java Runtime Platform, however, the same issue remains.

Please advise how to fix it.

I can reproduce the issue with CCS 11. XGCONF works fine in CCS 10.4.0 when using the same BIOS and XDCTools version.

Hello Louis,

We tracked this issue to a bug in java. CCS does not use system installed java. CCS is using a local (inside CCS installation directory) version of java. If you would like to try updating java version then please download this package:

https://github.com/adoptium/temurin11-binaries/releases/download/jdk-11.0.13%2B8/OpenJDK11U-jre_x64_windows_hotspot_11.0.13_8.zip

You will then need to replace contents of CCSInstallDir\ccs\eclipse\jre

I would first delete contents of above directory, unzip new jre using link above to some temporary directory and then copy contents of subfolder to ccs\eclipse\jre

after the operation the ccs\eclipse\jre directory should look like picture below
