TMS320F28375D: Can't access memory above 0x1C000

In Code Composer, I can't seem to access memory above 0x1C000 (RAMGS15 by default). I am able to allocate and use it in the processor -- I just can't look at it. CCS gives a Memory read error. Is there something special about this memory?

Hi Neil,

What is the exact address you are having the issue with ? Please note that after RAMGS15, we have shared RAM which starts at 0x0003_F800.

I have an array that starts at 0x0001a7a0 and is 4600 floats long so it ends at 0x1CB90. All registers from 0x1C00 thru 1CB90 can't be read.

Neil,

As per memory map, address beyond 0x1_C000 are reserved so I am not surprised that you are not able to read that space. You need to map the array in valid memory space only.

Yes, the CMD file from the example had an error and referenced RAMGS15 as 1C000. I see the latest version of the example fixed that problem and it now refers RAMGS15 to 1B000. Thank you.
