TMS320F28377D: CAN Example

I am trying to implement CAN, and have reviewed SPRACE5A. When trying to compile one of the examples, I get 2 errors. One is knowing what the variable myCAN0_BASE is. I assume it is defined somewhere, but can't find the definition. Also, the file board.h is missing and I can't find it anywhere in the C2000Ware folder. I also don't see where there are any instructions to create or modify these.

When you build the project the file board.h gets automatically generated. As for the myCAN0_BASE variable, it could be the known issue we have here:

I'm probably missing something. When I build the project, still no board.h. Also, don't see how SysConfig is launched either. I have CCS 10.1

Which C2000Ware version? 3.04.00.00 or 4.00.00.00

Whats your build log? because C2000Ware 4.0 should require CCS 11.0 with an integrated SysConfig Core of 1.10.0.

I bet your build is failing when it's calling sysconfig to generate board.h

I did not see where the log complained about that (see below). However, you bring up a good point about CCS 11, will need to get my admin to upgrade it for me.

Yes and if you REBUILD, you will see that the syscfg build step shouldnt go through either.

Unless you are using C2000WARE 3.04.00.00

I will close this for now and reopen another one if I still have problems after I get upgraded. I am very interested in SysConfig tool, thanks for pointing me to it.
