Hi, 

I'm looking for a document about hardware design guide for C2000 Gen3 devices.

Hardware Design Guidelines for TMS320F28xx and TMS320F28xxx DSCs (SPRAAS1D) does not apply to the F2838x, F28002x, F28004x.

I need documents that include hardware design guide such as signal routing, layout tips and etc.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out on the E2E forums. We have an upcoming document that is to be released very soon that provides updated hardware design guidelines for 3rd Gen C2000 devices. In the meantime, you may follow along with the guidelines presented in the guide as they are very general and should apply to your system. As well, if you are wanting to know about a specific hardware topic that is not dependent on C2000 devices specifically, you may be able to find an applicable application report on our website. Lastly, the TI datasheets provide minimal design guidelines but may assist in providing general oversight.

    As an added note, you can look at the controlCard design files for the specific device you plan on utilizing. This can be used as a reference for additional components needed in the schematic as well as a reference in the layout process. These design files can be found in the latest version of C2000ware.
