Hi expert,
I have a customer using F28386D.
And they find they can not program CPU2 by uniflash.
Uniflash version: 6.4 and 7.0
1. they enable DCSM in their code.
2.This is customer board。
3.they can program CPU1 always and unlock is finished correctly, they can also program CPU2 using CCS for the same board.
4.Boot mode is boot to flash.

Emma,
What is the exact error they got when programming CPU2 in UniFlash?
Please provide the details so that our team can help.
Thanks and regards,
Vamsi
Vamsi,
The error for uniflash 7.0 and uniflash 6.4 is:
and they also test with wait mode. nothing changed.
Another information is if they program an code without DCSM, it can success. but the unlock status is OK.
I am really curious about the reason.
They also try to eraser the CPU2 flash only, but it can only erase sector 2--4, other sectors will fail to erase by uniflash.
but it can be erasered by CCS.

Emma,
I think you edited your reply after posting. You posted a different error at first (error: Cannot read property 'DS') and I started analyzing based on that. When I was about to reply later, I noticed that the error info is edited. Hence is the delay - sorry about that.
We may need to review the DCSM configuration to help on this further. I will assign this to our security expert to help you further. He will pull in others as needed to help you.
Can you post the DCSM OTP configuration from the device?
Thanks and regards,
Vamsi
Vamsi,
Yes, I edit my post, since I visit customer today and find the property DS issue may related with WIN7 and uniflash7. we test another PC with WIN10 and Uniflash7. and the issue is same as uniflash6.4
so I just edit my post.
By the way, can you also involve uniflash team to analyze this issue.
I can provide DCSM setting. But I think it is OK. Because we can program the device by CCS.

Hi Emma,
Will look into the data you have sent offline and reply to email.

Emma,
I don't see any issue with security setting. In Uniflash did customer provide the correct password for CPU1 and CPU2 both before programming ?

Vivek Singh
Emma,
My question was about CPU2. Are they entering correct password for CPU2 as well ?

Vivek Singh
We found an issue with Uniflash toll. Tool was not issuing unlock operation before programming on CPU2 and CM hence it was causing issue. We have provided a patch to customer and it work fine.
