F28035 renewable energy developer's kit question

Hi,

I'm using the "F28035 renewable energy developer's kit" and would like to know how does it realize the AC output synchronization with utility frequency, does it include a Phase Locked Loop algorithm? Is there any document describing this?

The kit uses a ZCD to synchronize the internal oscillator/sinusoidal generator, there is not much documentation with this kit for this, however the source code is provided with the kit, you can have a look at the code to understand the implementation which is very straight forward.
