TMS320F28035: Can I use LIN as SCI on the F28035 Evaluation Kit?

In my application, I need to configure LIN as SCI, and I wonder if I can use this functionality on the evaluation kit (experimenter kit) of TMS320F28035?

Hi Frank,

Yes, the experimenter kit brings out the LIN RX/TX pins so you have the capability to test out LIN as SCI.

Thank you very much for the confirmation. Are there any limitation on using SCI on this evaluation kit? For the regular SCI, are both pin40 and pin49 available for receivers?

Hi Frank,

No limitations on using the SCI on this evaluation kit. Yes, both pin 40 (GPIO 28: SCIRX-A) and pin 49 (GPIO 7: SCIRX-A) are available.

Within C2000Ware, we have the board files for this evaluation kit. You'll be able to find the schematics, pin-out, BOM, etc.
