C2000WARE: Analog output from TMS320F28035 PAGQ to measure fuel level

The F28035 device doesn't have an internal DAC but you can use utilize the PWM and a low pass filter to create one. This procedure is explained in this appnote -> https://www.ti.com/lit/an/spraa88a/spraa88a.pdf?ts=1637594818719

However if you haven't finalized your design yet, I would recommend you consider switching to one of our newer devices that have an internal analog DAC e.g F28003x. Let us know if you have more questions.

Looks like the DAC7715 should work since the communication is SPI. It's not possible for me to recommend a DAC since i don't know your requirements but you can utilize the TI product selection tool for this -> https://www.ti.com/data-converters/dac-circuit/overview.html. You can use the tool to filter down to what you are looking for. Just make sure that the DAC you select communicates through SCI, SPI, I2C or LIN.

Thank you for your support. In my circuit, I have already used an SPI and so I planned to use the other SPI for DAC chip. what I want to know is, Does SPI CLKA is common for both SPIs. SPI CLKA is already occupied in my design. I need clock signal for DAC chip too. Can SPI CLKA be shared?
