TMS320F280049: Selecting single ended clock

I am picking a clock from this series, there is an option for output load, if i am connecting the clock as shown in the second picture, what is the capacitive load internal of X1?

Hi,

Copying Frank who is TI expert in Crystal.

In my opinion output load of 15pf should be selected, Frank should be able to confirm.

Hi Shengnan,

I'm not quite clear on your question. Are you using a crystal or single-ended clock? Can you provide the part number?

Thanks for the confirmation. But i still want to know if this load capacitance refers to internal parasitic capacitance of X1?

Hi,

I think CL specified in the data sheet of the oscillator probably refers to the Load capacitance on the output. Internal parasitic capacitance on X1 pin is about 2pf.
