TMS320F280049C: compensation designer cannot turn on

Part Number: TMS320F280049C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SFRA

Hi team,

The customer has the following 2 questions:

1. The following figure is the result of clicking on the sfra module sweep from main.cfg. ,is this an open loop response? If so, why click on the compensation module to select the csv question that was just generated, and the resulting Berdtu seems to have a few db biasing from this one?

Also, what does the plant in the compensation module mean, and what is the difference from the open loop Bode plot swept here?

2. The compensation designer cannot open, and after clicking there is no response.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Cherry,

Which design this question is related to ?

The plot shown is the open loop plot (blue) on the SFRA GUI.

When you import the CSV file into the SFRA , the plan information will be used from the CSV and the open loop will be based on the compensator you specify in the compensation designer.

  • Hi Manish,

    Thanks for your support!

Which design this question is related to ?

It is related to the tida-00961 bought before.

When you import the CSV file into the SFRA , the plan information will be used from the CSV and the open loop will be based on the compensator you specify in the compensation designer.

So do you mean the sfra sweep result is the result of the power stage plus the pi compensation of the customer's design, while the plant imported into compensation is the Berdchart without compensation, is that right?

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Cherry

  • Hi,

May I know is there any updates about the question above?

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Cherry

  • "So do you mean the sfra sweep result is the result of the power stage plus the pi compensation of the customer's design, while the plant imported into compensation is the Berdchart without compensation, is that right?"

    Yes this is correct,

Sorry TDA-00961 no longer supported and I have not worked on it to be able to provide you any insight on that.
