TMS320F28388D: Why is manchester decoding for SDFM missing?

Hello,

I noticed the different modes for the SDFM module are missing. Specifically the mode 2 (manchester decoding). Why?

Milad,

Majority of our customers use mode 0 because it provides the best noise immunity when compared to mode 1 / 2 / 3. Mode 1 / 3 doesn't have any performance benefits over mode 0 and mode 2 was very susceptible to noise hence we took as decision to not support mode 1 / 2 / 3
