Hi,

I'm working with F280049C device. I can connect and debug MCU but today I can't connect with C28 core.(1st picture)

Than I checked target connection(JTAG connection), it is okay.(2nd picture)

I ckecked target connection by Uniflash program but I cant connect with MCU.(3rd picture)

I share pictures for problems. I tried a lof of thigs but I cant solved this problem. How can I solve this problem? Could you help please?

This may not be an UniFlash issue.

Did you program password for the device?

Hi Vamsi,

No, I didn't program password for device. I used this board along two weeks. Today I want to connected this board but I didn't . I didn't understand.

Hi Meltem,

See similar issue after setting up an IRQ's handler. Trick was hold EVM reset button and release then quickly click retry fast as can click. New message comes "Do you want to rudely interrupt" click yes. Perhaps timing issues DAP connection seems CCS debug console is slow to issue Halt CPU command into the interrupt cycle.

Hello GI,

I tried a lot of times but i didn't connect to MCU. I think MCU is locked.

Hi Meltem,

I thought the same but was also troublesome connecting to flash new firmware via CCS debug. It took several rude retries before the PLL was detected as stable (CCS 7.3) before it would even flash the first sector.

Your post above suggest XDS110 has made successful connection without any errors, (failed 0) on 6 test writes.

Hi Meltem,

Previously I misread GI's reply as yours. Hence thought the issue is closed.

1) Can you try wait boot for the boot mode select pins?

2) Can you send a snapshot of the DCSM OTP? I will request our DCSM expert to review it.

Hello GI,

Yes I connect XDS110 from target connection. It is worked but I didn't connect MCU.

Better to let the DCSM expert check your listing too. Note I selected project build variant x49c MCU (TMS320F280049c), the default project example was set to GenericC2800. Holding reset button on launch pad (Boot Wait S2) until ready to click Retry may take several (hold/release reset attempts) to halt a runaway CPU.
