TMS320F280037C: the customer need the fixed-point, so can we have these material?

Hi Experts,
     Do we have any guidance materials on CLA floating-point to fixed-point IQ?

    The customer used the C2000 with CLA before, and then it was replaced due to lack of stock. Can only switch from floating-point programming to fixed-point programming now?
     Are there any reference materials? I only find the 

TMS320C28x Floating Point Unit and Instruction Set Reference Guide (Rev. B)

   But the customer need the fixed-point, so can we have these material? thanks!

    Hi,

    The CLA is optimized for floating point and will not give good performance for fixed point computation. If the customer already has floating point computation, why are they looking to convert to fixed point. It would be helpful if you can provide some insight on this requirement.
