What code are you running on the device when you connect the device to PC? 

Will request the hardware team to take a look and suggest if something is missing.

I reviewed the hardware schematic. I don't see any glaring issue. I am assuming that the SW has been modified to account for the different GPIOs being used on the custom board vs. what was used on the F28388D control card (e.g. USB-EPEN, USB-PFLT).

May be thats the problem, I have no code loaded to the device. I thougth the boot loader is inside it. I have no means to load software to the device because there is not ftdi devices available in the market and cannot use the debuger option. 

that's the reason I want to use the boot loader to load software to the device.

Hi Pablo,

You may need to install some windows drivers for your PC to detect the USB port. See files within C2000WARE, instructions are 'driver_installation_flow.pdf'.
