TMS320F28379S: Flash programming fail after unlocking it.

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

The user uses TI F28379S Launchpad.

He used a password and then unlocked it with the password on CCS flash plug-in.

It seems he has unlocked it successfully on CCS flash plug-in.

He could then erase flash successfully on CCS flash plug-in.

But when he tried to program it with his codes or TI example codes, it failed.

The error messages are as follows.

We are confused why the flash could be erased, but there was still something wrong with flash verification.

Would you please give us some comments how to solve this?

Hi Wayne,

Did the user erase all the sectors? Or did the user select particular sectors for erase in the plugin GUI?

Dear Vamsi

i confirmed they erased all flash sectors using the erase all in the flash plug-in.

I also confirmed the unlocking succeeded because the unsecure bit was high from Watch/Register.
Please let me know if you have any other comment.

Wayne,

1) Can you share snapshots of the failure address in the memory window?

2) Can you enable verbose output mode (bottom of the plugin GUI) and post the console output here?

Dear Vamsi,

We can close this post now because the user decided to use another EVM to continue his work other than this part.

If needed in the future, say, he will test CSM again later and has similar problems in programming again, we will ask by a new post.
