TMS320F28375D: Keep provision for booting from SCI mode (reference material, HW and SW)

Hi team,

My customer wants to keep provision for booting this DSP from SCI Mode. Do you know if we have any reference material for doing this task, as well as guidance on the the the required HW & SW action for this activity?

Hi Lauren,

The SCI boot mode is a pretty standard configuration. Please request the customer to do a detailed study of the ROM code and Peripheral Booting chapter of the TRM available here: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spruhm8. The hardware design guide available here: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spracz will also be helpful because it addresses boot pins and boot peripherals.
