CCSTUDIO-C2000: XDAIS v0.0 Error on CC Studio v11

I got a compile error with CCSv11 for my old C2000 project (used to use CCSv5.3).

I saw this thread e2e.ti.com/.../2046257 talking about the same error "Product XDAIS v0.0 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version." The solution was to remove the XDAIS under Property->General->Production tab. But mine doesn't have Products tab, how do I remove the reference to XDAIS? I have deleted XDAIS_CG_ROOT from Project Properties->Build->C2000 Compiler->Include Options and didn't help

It looks like DSP/BIOS projects have different Properties than non-BIOS projects. Do you see anything under TConf related to XDAIS? Do you see it anywhere in the categories exposed by "Show advanced settings"? If you can't find anything, you may be able to edit the .cproject file manually to remove it.

Unfortunately I don't have a reference project with both XDAIS and DSP/BIOS on hand, so I'm not able to experiment with it myself...

Hi Whitney,

Thanks for your reply. Here is what my Tconf looks like. Is xdctools related to XDIAS? I couldn’t find anything under Advanced Options that referenced XDIAS.

In .cproject, it has this line <listOptionValue builtIn="false" value="RTSC_PRODUCTS=com.ti.rtsc.XDAIS:latest;"/>. Should I manually remove it?

Make a back up of your project just in case it breaks something, but yes, I think removing it might be worth a try.

Removed that line and now has different compile error.

"This project was created using a version of DSP/BIOS tools that is not currently installed: 5.42.0.07. Please install the DSP/BIOS tools of this version, or migrate the project to one of the supported versions."

Where can I download the DSP/BIOS 5.42.0.07? Was it come as part of earlier CCSv5? Will it work with CCSv11?

Older versions of DSP/BIOS can be downloaded here: https://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/dspbios/index.html

The release notes for 5.42.0.07 just say "CCS v5.1 or higher." I've never tried it with CCSv11, so I don't know if it's still compatible.
