Problem in connecting to F28335 eZdsp target board

I also have the same problem, it happened when I left the circuit for a long break with no cover...

 I have connected the eZDSP to anothor circuit by soldering connectors on it. when I clean the ports it sometimes works and again it will be disconnected later on...

Hi to all,

 I am trying to connect TMS320FeZDSP28335 ,its not connecting .It simply shows the following :

Error connecting to the target:

Error 0x80000200/-1135

Fatal Error during: OCS,

Unrecoverable emulation error

I/O Port = 540

Board Name: F28335_eZdsp

Cpu Name: cpu_0

Is there any solution for this ? DSP is cant be used further ?

For my case the solution was to replace the DSP itself.

is it the first time for you to connect the DSP?

No,  its working properly .But suddenly i got this error .

What is cause for this error ?

what is your application is it related to power electronics?

yes, Motor control using inverter .But i havent connect the DSP with power circuit .

Well to be honest I am not the right person to help you.

But as a suggestion, try another DSP chip. And if you are going to use the circuit for medium power applications you will need a JTAG programmer and optic isolator.

I'm sure you've already done this, but I'd try powering everything down, unplugging everything, restarting the computer, and reconnecting all the cables.

HI Every One,

I am facing the same problem with connecting my eZdsp to PC. Do i really need to replace my DSP or is there any other solution. Previously it was working fine till i oppened the lid where DSP resides. After that i started getting this same error.

Hi Hammad,

Do check the condition of your controller and LDO. If any of them is getting overheated... you'll have to replace the respective component.

Thanks for your reply. I Checked my DSP as you said in another board. It is working fine there. I am basically not able to debug my board using either USB interface or external JTAG emulator. Code Composer studio does not connect to my board and it shows the above mentioned error. 

What should i do now ??
