Hi team,

My customer was looking for lower cost off-line programmer tools for C2000 F28002x. They found the product from Acroview is expensive and size is too large. Could we suggest any similar tool like PEmicro to them?

Hi Aki,

Look like PEmicro does not support C2000 device. Did customer looked into GANG programmer or Uniflash programmer ?

Hi Vivek,

They used Uniflash now, but the process speed could not meet their requirement in the manufacture. Thus, they would like to see program the firmware into the devices before assembling.

Hi Vivek,

Can C200--GANG be used for cJTAG? And it seems that C2000 GANG also need to program the device through JTAG connection, which means the device should be assembled in the PCB board first. It could not support the usage like Acroview AP8000. Right?

I need to check on this because as per their feature set, it only supports JTAG and SCI-BOOT option. To program the device, some external interface has to be used to communicate and for that it has to be put on a board. It's up to user how they want to design their programming board.

Yes, GANG programmer supports cJTAG for F28002x device.
