C2000 SCI echoback function

Iam using TMS320F28377SPTP device.

Iam trying to implement sci echoback from examples, (sci_ex3_echoback).

Transmitter section is perfect and everything comes in putty. But the entered character is not displayed in putty.

Is their anything more to be done to enable reception in SCIA.

Hi,

Can you please check the baud rate settings and the port number that you are using?

Baud should be 9600 and you can check the UART port number in your device manager. Nothing else is to be done.

Thanks for the reply.

Baud rate and port verified.

On putty transmission from controller is getting. But what we give as input from keyboard is not coming.

Actually A:SW1 was not in position.

Changed the positon and now its working.

I changed the GPIO pins from 28, 29 to 18 and 19. Also changed the GPIO Mux Selection.

Changed SciaRegs to ScibRegs.

But no output on terminal.

Does the switch functionality applied here also?

What position did you change your boot mode switch to?

Also, can you paste the code here to check for any issues?
