Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SM320F2808-EP
I am using a SM320F2808-EP TI processor. I am able to connect to the DSP through CCS, read Flash through CCS, and Load into RAM through CCS. I cannot write to or erase flash. I check the Security registers through CCS and they all show "FFFF" indicating that the DSP is not security locked.
Upon loading code into RAM the DSP sporadically runs without being told to by CCS, other times it will wait for CCS to tell it to run. Whenever the DSP is allowed to run full speed it gets stuck in a loop around ADDR 0x000066 (ITRAP0). If I step the code manually through CCS it will run just fine.
I am not sure why it is behaving in this way, the same code runs on other boards of the same design. I have checked the following at the pin of the DSP:
- Input Clock = Stable 20Mhz Verified with a scope
- ClkOut = Stable 2.5Mhz Verified with a scope
-Flash Power = 3.3V
-3.3V Supply = 3.3V
-1.8V Supply = 1.8V
-VSS1 through 11 = Solid connection to ground (<0.5Ohms)
