Hi,

is there a solution from TI to check, that the OTP of a MCU has not been programmed before?
How can ths taski be done with the CCSTUDIO?

Is there also a solution to do this task through UNIFLASH before applying a firmware package through UNIFLASH on the MCU?

Hi,

I think you can check it using the checksum feature: There is an OTP checksum field in the flash plugin GUI. Take a fresh unprogrammed device and click on calculate checksum. And you can compare that checksum with that of any device you want to check.

Can you share how the checksum of the otp will be calculated?

But the answer above has been a helpful suggestion to solve my problem.

Below is the algo used for the checksum calculation.

/* Calculate checksum for the address range provided */

for(; param1 <= param2; param1+=1)

{

checksum += *(unsigned int*)param1;

}
