TMS320F28335: CCS generates binary output in too large size

Hi,

I am using TMS320F28335.

I used this script.

"${CCE_INSTALL_ROOT}/utils/tiobj2bin/tiobj2bin" "${BuildArtifactFileName}" "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.bin" "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/bin/ofd2000" "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/bin/hex2000" "${CCE_INSTALL_ROOT}/utils/tiobj2bin/mkhex4bin"

But CSS converts 512kB .bin file size which is really greater than should be. Hex size is 42kB.

Please read the article An Introduction to Binary Files. Focus on the part about holes and what causes them. It is likely you have a large hole in your binary file. You need to find the cause, then change the build to avoid it.
