We are seeing an Internal short between V ddio and vdd ..

85 parts with marking: CG-05A5S4W, 28 parts with marking: CG-05A5S5W, 6 parts with marking: CG-05A5SFW.

Is anyone else seeing this condition and what is causing this short? Really need a technical person from TI to respond.

85 parts failing in this fashion is extremely unusual. All devices are tested for opens/shorts before they leave our factory. Can you provide some history about these parts? You are welcome to share that information privately with me. You can do this by initiating a "friendship" request.

Any updates on this? We have full continuity testing as a final test step before shipment from TI. Where was the material purchased from and what processes did the material go through prior to identifying the shorts?
