Hello,

I am facing the following issue when I try to debug the TMS320F28027.

1. The code runs fine the first time.

2. The code runs fine post a restart

3. However, when I reset the code, I get the error "No source available for _system_post_cinit() at File_Directory/Proj_Name.out : {3} 0x3ff7bf{4}"

I believe this extends to beyond debug as I am facing a similar issue when trying to run it in stand-alone mode. The code simply doesn't run.

As recommended elsewhere on the forum, I have tried loading the Boot ROM symbols but no success there.

Would appreciate some help here.

Aditya,

Are you running any example from C2000Ware SDK or it is your custom code? Please try an example from the SDK and see if you observe the similar behavior?

How are you reseting the code? you mean you are moving PC to go to Main() or you are using CCS -> CPU reset?

It is a custom code. One of my other custom codes is running fine.

And yes, I am using CCS->CPU Reset.

Hi,

I checked the EMU_KEY(=0x55AA) and EMU_BMODE(0x0003) values during failure which denote a GET_BOOT mode. The OTP_KEY value is 0xffff which, as per the TRM, should trigger a boot from flash. This should cause the program to go to the code start address (in my case this is 0x3f0076), right?
