TMS320F280039C: CCS version questions

Hi expert,

I have a customer want to update from F280049 to F280039.

And they are using CCS10.4 for now. and it doesn't support F28003X.

However, they want to use same CCS to compile the project,  adding some plug-in in CCS10.4 is also an option.

But I am afraid this method is not stable and have some potential risk.

Could you kindly tell me whether this method is doable ?Or you prefer updating to CCS11?

    Hi Emma,

    Our recommendation will be to update to CCS11. Probably we can make 10.4 work, but it will require lot of files to be manually updated in CCS folder, but it has not been validated with CCS10.4, so it will be difficult to support.
