TMS320F28388D: Code not flashing and giving error in system clk function

Hello,

I am using TMS320F28388D control card.

I wrote a simple code to enable SPIA with 8 bit and 1MHz frequency .

The code is building but while flashing the code to controller its getting terminated at the below function call in sysctl.h

SysCtl_delay(23U);

The above function is called while configuring the system Clock.

Is there any configuration that need to be done in the workspace of the project.

Any input on this will be helpful.

The address 0x3FE96F (shown in your snapshot) falls in the ITRAP ISR of the BootROM as per TRM. Please see below:

Please check whether or not the SysCtl_delay() is copied to RAM correctly using memcpy().

could you please elaborate on how to check SysCtl_delay() is copied to RAM correctly using memcpy().

Is it in the code ?

Hi Navya,

There are couple of ways to check it:

1) You can search in the map file for this function and see whether or not it is mapped to RAM for execution.

2) When you single step in to this function, you can observe where the control jumps to.
