TMS320F28388D: Performing erase/write operations on the flash memory using CLA

Hi,

Do CLAs have access to the flash memory? If not, is there any way to perform write/erase operations on the flash memory using CLAs?

Hi Alex,

The CLA does not have access to Flash memory or the Flash configuration registers and this will need to be done from the C28 CPU. Please see the device datasheet - "Peripheral Connectivity" section for a table of the peripherals and the bus masters that can access it. This table shows that CLA does not have access to Flash configuration registers.
