I am using the F28044 to trigger an acoustic impulse, we are then receiving the echo with the AD converter. We are doing a time of flight measurement and the timing between the impulse and the received AD conversions is very critical. The problem I am having is that I don't know what the relationship is between the phase of the system clock and the AD clock. Are they in phase, out of phase, scaled, etc... So if there is no reference between the system clock (used to trigger the impulse) and the AD clock (used to capture the echo) then there is some large uncertainty in our time measurement.
