TMS320F28388D: What is the status of the USB peripheral bootloader clocking issue?

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hi,

A year ago I brought up an issue that the TMS320F28388D on-chip USB peripheral bootloader does not work with Revision B control cards.

The cause was determined to be the default 25 MHz clock speed. Modifying the clock speed to 20 MHz by moving a certain resistor resolved the issue.

Seeing as Revision B is still the latest version, I assume that the issue has yet to be resolved. A post by Cody Watkins in the original topic said this issue will be noted in the documentation, but neither the TRM, Datasheet, nor the Errata make any mention of this issue in the latest versions as of this post.

Sincerely,

Howard Li
