Hi Experts,

When the CAN data with the same ID is received and the reading and the receiving the data occurs simultaneously, does the read data content the part of the previous data?

If the two same data come successively and the procedure a), b), and c) are taken place sequentially,
a) The 1st data is read just after the 1st data has been received.
b) The 2nd data is received just before the 1st data has not been read.
c) Is it possibly to be mixed up the previous data and the receiving data?　Does this make the data like c)?

Hi Hitoshi,

The scenario for c) is not likely to happen. Per the message handling section in the TRM, when messages are received and accepted, messages that are not read before the next messages are accepted for the same message object are overwritten. Moreover, if a message is not read and another incoming message of the same object number as the previous is received, MsgLst (message lost) flag will be set so you can poll for MsgLst flag as a check for messages that are not read and overwritten by a new message.
