Dear Team,

I have designed one customized hardware for BLDC motor to control speed using Hall sensor. [used sensor trapezoidal method ]

I have applied PWM based on Throttle input [ Throttle is connected to ADC pin ].

For current sensing I have used current sensing IC and I able to measure current consume by the device also I have used capture module to measure speed of the BLDC.

Motor parameters:

RPM max : 4000

Motor operating Voltage: 24VDC

My problem is I have to apply external force to motor at initial condition [ without external force motor is not START rotating ]

I want to control motor speed at very low RPM with desired torque

Please guide me how to start motor at initial stage [ without external force ] and also I want to know how to control motor speed at very low RPM with desired torque?

I have used C2000ware example for software development.

Best and regards,

Dipak

  • You may download and install the latest MotorControlSDK. There is a new Universal Motor Control Lab that includes some of the requirements you mentioned above. The detailed introduction about the lab can be found in the lab user’s guide as the link below.

The position resolution of the hall sensor could be not enough if you want to achieve a stable and fast speed response at very low speed.
