Hello ,
I wanted to ask about the clock check like can i have both the tests running :

MCD is default ON and PLL extra turned on to check the clock INTOSC2 Does it even make sense to do that way?

Hi Ushma,
Yes MCD is by default ON, it is fine/recommended to keep both the circuits ON if you are using INTOSC2.
MCD will monitor INTOSC2 even when PLL is not enabled.
When PLL is enabled than PLL reference clock detect will detect failure before MCD and trigger CLOCKFAIL event, so the response time will be faster.
