TMS320F28335: TMS320F28335PTPQ replace by SM320F28335PTPMEP

Hi Team,

Due to supply issue, TMS320F28335PTPQ has a big supply issue on customer side. Now SM320F28335PTPMEP has inventory in TI.com.

Are those two device P2P in hardware and software? Customer did home work, they find the pin definition is same. But the software is hard to compare between those two device.

Could you help on this? Thanks.

The SM320F28335PTPMEP will be pin and 100% code compatible with the TMS320F28335PTPQ. The only difference in the devices is the extra characterization to get Hi-REL status and increased temp range to -55C vs the Q100 device -40C low temp limit.
