Hy, i use CCS IDE for MSP430F5171

Now i'm planning to use TMS320F280021 and I'll buy its debugger XDS200 USB.

My CCS is set only for MSP430 familiy, how to make it able to compile and debug the new Micro?

Hello Enzo,

I assume when you first installed CCS, you only selected the MS430 components. To add support for other device families, you will need to rerun the installer ontop of your existing CCS installation. The installer will detect an existing installation:

and allow you to add components you did not install the first time. For example - C2000:

Hy, yes, is what i've done.

Now i'm able to open MSP430 projects and to start a brand new one with TMS320F.

Curious about your decision to go with the XDS200? For F28x, we typically recommend the XDS110 since it is a better deal from a price/performance standpoint.
