TMDSDOCK28379D: Which pin on my dock would connect me to GPIO6?

Hi,

Good Day.

Customer recently purchased the TMDSDOCK28379D developer kit, and need to access the GPIO6 pin from the TMS320F2837xD microcontroller, but he is not sure which pin on the Dock can be used to do so.

So do you know which pin on the dock would connect me to GPIO6? So he is attempting to connect the GPIO6 of two of these controllers in order to send an ePWM signal from one to the other.

At the moment, once we find out which pin on the dock can be used to connect them, he is just using regular wire but my question is if he would need a high frequency connection such as ethernet instead of standard wire?

Hi Ray,

He should look into controlCARD pinout table. It is part of C2000Ware installation. It is located at:

C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_4_00_00_00/boards/controlCARDs/TMDSCNCD28379D/R1_3/TMDSCNCD28377D_180cCARD_pinout_R1_3.pdf

It is pin 54, on docking station.

Good Day. Another question, now that I know which pin to use, will I need to connect them through a high-frequency cable of some kind or is standard wire sufficient to send an ePWM signal?

Ray,

For ePWM, regular cable should be good enough.
