TMS320F280039C: Comparator CMPSS

Hello,

F280039C has four Comparator subsystem (CMPSS) to realize the comparing feature.

Is there any other way to obtain the comparing feature?

Hi Yoshita,

There are 4 CMPSSs but actually 8 comparators in total. Does your application need more than 8 comparators?

Our customer requests totally 9 comparators.

Could you please point out the document for 8 comparators?

Ok. This device has a max of 8 comparators but we have other devices that have more comparators if they need more than 8.

You can find this in the DS and TRM

Device Comparison Section (pg. 8 datasheet)

Analog Peripherals Section (pg. 127 datasheet). You can see in the diagram there are 8 comparators in total.

BTW, F28004x has 14 independent comparators, I guess.
