Hi Expert,

My customer want to use 24C128 which is 128KB for Ethercat external EPPROM, is it able to support? the default EPPROM for Ethercat is 24C16 which is only 16KB.

Hi Strong,

Yes, the larger size is fine. The size of the memory is configurable with a minimum of 1Kbit up to 4Mbit supported.

customer configure esi file for 16384KB, but did not work and unable to do the program.

Hi Strong,

We unfortunately don't have any guidelines available. Beckhoff or ETG should have something, I will let you know if I find useful documents for you. You can make changes to the SSC tool / ESI files provided and generated within C2000WARE.

16384KB is too large (~131Mb). Did you mean a different value?
