TMS320F28388D: Synchronize EPWM with SPI or FSI?

Hi all!

1- I saw EPM can be syncronized with ECAT but didn't see anything with about FSI. Is it possible to make some synchronization with EPWM and FSI modules?

2- Is there a way to synchronize SPI and EPWM?

I use spi for adc with dma. I was thinking to start dma transfer with EPWM. I didn't check the TRM properly yet but wanted to ask the quesiton here. Is it possible to start DMA transfer with the counter compare(CC) module events?

Quick question for you, what is your application?

Also why do you need to sync the EPWM module with SPI.

Application is DC/DC converter and spi is for external ADC's. Like a center aligned i might need to start spi reading so AD conversion at certain point of the pwm period. SPI is also with DMA. Synchronizing was not good idea maybe. I thought yesterday that I might generate a compare event with epwm then start dma tranfer for SPi reading/writing with this event hopefully. I will try.

Also another issue that later we might need pwm update with fsi. fsi_daisy_epwmsync_lead.c this example is here but we wanted to do it without iterrupt or cpu intervention as much as possible. It might be possible with CLB but it would be nice also if there was a synchron out from fsi to epwm like ECAT.

I think that is a good idea. SPITX connected to DMA. DMA triggered by EPWM.

Yeah I see now. Unfortunately you don't have that put you can use INPUTXBAR5/6. Maybe that can help.
