TMS320F28034: reduce ac cycle ripple for LLC

Dear c2000 expert

LLC input voltage come from PFC output, there are 120Hz ripple on LLC output voltage, can please share some suggestions on to reduce this ripple?

Hi Jack,

Please refer to the app note below. With voltage mode control, usually you have to increase the output capacitor. Using HHC/charge mode control is another option.

Your suggested solution is a analog controller, is it possible implmented on digital control solution?

In addition, for your experience, how about average current mode control? Is it possilbe to reduce vout ripple?

Hi Jack,

Yes, we have a coming reference design which is PMP-41006 using charge mode control. The software will be inside DPSDK. You can check early next week.

I don't think average current mode control can do it.
