TMS320F280025C: TMS320F280025CPNSR: Default Boot mode selection?

Part Number: TMS320F280025C

I have been working with "TMS320F280025CPNSR" for motor control application. I want to know if the controller needs to start from the default boot mode (i.e. FLASH after reset), do I need to pull GPIO32 and GPIO24 to high. Will it be ok, if those pins are used as I/O GPIO pins but not pulled-high but still boot mode is default to FLASH mode.

  • Yes if you want to use the default device boot modes. But you can zero boot mode without using any boot mode select pins, or one boot mode just with using one boot mode select pin.

You can take a look at  section 4.3 (Device Boot Modes) in the F28002x TRM (SPRUIN7).
