XDS200 Emulator disconnects while testing the power converter

Hi,

While testing, the XDS200 Emulator disconnects at the high power range of a converter.

It shows the following error:

C28xx: Error: (Error -1135 @ 0x3FF75C) The debug probe reported an error. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 8.4.0.00006)
C28xx: Trouble Halting Target CPU: (Error -1044 @ 0x0) The debug probe reported an error. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 8.4.0.00006)
C28xx: Unable to determine target status after 20 attempts
C28xx: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging

Please help me to solve it.

Can you confirm if it works in normal operation? Can you make sure that the power supply is stable at high-power range?

It is not helpful for my issue.

Yes, it works in normal operation.

The power supply is stable at a high power range.

Hi Seelam,

While the isolated JTAG will protect the host PC from high voltage events, it likely won't add margin if there is radiated or localized noise from the high voltage domain.

Have you tried to shield the device from the high voltage FETs and see if this helps the stability of the connection? This would tell us if the issue is from radiated EMI type events or from local PCB noise itself.
