TMS320F28375S: CCS (CQK and Qualified Library)

Dear Sir,

I use the CCS 9.3.0 with C2000Wave3.04 to develop SIL-3 application for TMS320F28375S.

We change the default compiler to ti-cgt-c2000_21.6.0.LTS that is qualified by TUV. We follow the "coverage_testing_instructions.pdf" to setup the compiler for generating the .cov files.

But, we fail to generate those files.

How can we generate the .cov files to prove that we use the qualified compile?

The diagnosis library is qualified by the TUV. We can download the report from https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000-SAFETI-DIAGNOSTICS-LIB.

How about other libraries? For example, Flash Library and DriverLib. Are they all qualified by SIL3?

Hi Eddie,

The Flash Library and DriverLib are not safety certified and do not qualify for any SIL level. They only serve as examples code.

Does TI provide the Flash library source code?

We maybe can modify the source code into our program for SIL verification.

Hi Eddie,

For safety certification purposes in military, aviation, or medical applications, the source code will be provided under NDA and an agreement if the requirement is legitimate. Users will not be allowed to modify/rebuild the Flash API source - This is to ensure the Flash reliability.
