Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335
I require an emulator for a test fixture. The DSP on the board is the TMS320F28335.
I want to be able to run a FLASH Programming Utility on the factory floor ( not Code Composer Studio ) to re-program the DSP in-system.
Spectrum Digital's website indicates that the XDS100V2 is not supported by the SD Flash programmer tool. Is this correct? If the XDS100v2 supports SD FLASH than this is a great answer to my problem.
Also, I see another third party tool: Blackhawk: http://www.blackhawk-dsp.com/downloads/docs/datasheets/USB100-DS-02.pdf Does Blackhawk offer a programming utility?
I thought I heard that TI might bring the IC on the XDS100v2 to market? If yes, then I can add the emulator IC right to the board, rather than providing a seperate emulator. Does TI have plans to do this?
In the end, if the only way to do this is with a big emulator, like the XDS510 class, let me know.
Thanks,
